It is an interface that is setup in Bridge mode, which allows you to have a static "real" IP address assigned to equipment behind the Untangle firewall, in this case our Atran router. After consulting with Untangle over the phone, we ended up setting up what I call a "RAW DMZ". It's been at least a year now that we setup SIP service to an Adtran 916. I know this one is difficult to help with since it's limited info and my understanding of it all is lacking, but if anyone happens to have experience with these two services and/or good ideas, I'm all ears. Do I need to change the gateway in the Allworx, or do I simply need to figure out how to direct it's current gateway to funnel it correctly through the correct firewall rack? The gateway in Allworx is not the same gateway as the FIOS connection is using in Untangle. We have a static IP address for FIOS setup in Allworx. Can anyone direct me on what to set in order to make sure our Allworx phone traffic is funneling through the correct part of the firewall? The floods are still coming in from France, so obviously the desired traffic is not routing to the firewall. I setup the appropriate blocks on our Untangle security appliance's firewall to block all traffic from France and some other specific IP addresses. We setup a separate "rack" inside of Untangle dashboard to route SIP/VoIP traffic through separately from other stuff. It's often causing outgoing call attempts to fail. We've been getting slammed from servers in France and some others with SIP IP flood attempts. We recently switched our SIP VoIP phone service from Windstream to TCE Company We recently disconnected Windstream/Paetec (good) I don't know enough about networking, our phone support doesn't know anything about our particular firewall, and our firewall support doesn't know anything about our SIP phone settings. I need some direction on firewall traffic and our PBX settings. Again, my noobness in networking is getting the best of me.
